After Eknath Shinde’s rebellion with close to 40 Sena MLAs which brought down the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, Shiv Sena has asked all its office-bearers to submit ‘loyalty affidavits’ or pledges in writing. The loyalty pledges have to be sent in the next two days by office-bearers starting with ‘up-shakha pramukhs’ (deputy branch heads) at the bottom end of the hierarchy.
